Zoning Board unanimously denies Wickson Construction wetland project
Zoning Board of Adjustment · Meeting of January 22, 2026
NH HAMPTON FALLS — Zoning Board unanimously denies Wickson Construction special exception over significant wetland impacts. The board unanimously rejected Wickson Construction LLC's request to build three residential multi-family buildings at 0 East Road, finding the project failed to meet Special Exception requirements under Zoning Ordinance Article III, Section 8.7. Despite revisions that reduced impervious surface in the prime wetland buffer from 42,100 to 25,700 square feet, the total wetland buffer impact remained 100,910 square feet.
Chairman John DeLeire and Member Stephen MacLeod raised concerns about protecting wetlands and the project's reasonable use component. The Conservation Commission opposed the project.
