Beattie, and Selectman Lou Gargiulo set the proposed 2026 budget at $3,566,083, down $40,000 from 2025, while organizing for the town's Deliberative Session on February 4. The board faces a potential $125,000 annual loss from a proposed state redistribution of rooms and meals tax revenues. The board unanimously approved the 2024 Audit and rescheduled the 2025 audit meeting to February 18.
