NH HAMPTON FALLS — Planning Board examines controversial 48-foot LED billboard proposal at Seabrook border generating $140,000 annual revenue. Chairman Todd Santora outlined the electronic sign proposed by NorthVision (Wayne Capolupo and Peter McLary) positioned at 50 feet above ground on Stard Road, though operating 24 hours daily for commercial advertisements despite "government use" classification allowing town emergency messages and events up to 10 hours monthly. Direct abutter Scott Blood and Seabrook Planning Board member Jill Gordon appealed to the Zoning Board of Adjustment, which denied their request.
The board also reviewed procedures for resident Mr. Montrone's nonprofit land donation for a garden club, requiring a payment-in-lieu-of-taxes agreement and zoning changes.
