NH HAMPTON FALLS — Heritage Commission asks consultant to revise town survey proposal at lower cost. At the August 12 workshop meeting, Chair Beverly Mutrie and Commissioners Phil Chura, Mary Ann Hill, and John Sobutka met with Reagan Reudig of the Preservation Company to discuss the $17,000 town-wide survey documenting chronological settlement patterns, general architecture by era, and houses over 75 years old. The board of selectmen had previously questioned the high cost and requested alternatives.

Reudig agreed to revise the proposal using existing 2020-21 photographs and historical documents the Commission possesses to reduce staff time. Commissioner John Sobutka volunteered to help present the revised proposal to the selectmen.
