Energy Committee unanimously advances second phase Town Hall HVAC upgrades to CIP

Energy Committee · Meeting of July 20, 2026

NH HAMPTON FALLS — Energy Committee votes unanimously on second phase Town Hall HVAC upgrades to CIP. The committee, with Scott Bieber, Alan Ganz, and Carol Schutte present, approved presenting a plan to the Capital Improvement Program in September for completing the second phase of Town Hall heating and air conditioning upgrades. The first phase of a Siemens building controls project at Lincoln Akerman School, budgeted at approximately $59,000, is scheduled for early August installation with Variable Frequency Drives on boiler circulation pumps.

The committee is also investigating an 80 to 90 percent spike in school heating oil consumption between 2024 and 2025, with electricity rates expected to increase significantly on August 1.
