NH HAMPTON FALLS — Hampton Falls Energy Committee outlines systematic evaluation plan for school heating systems. Committee Chair Carol Schutte, Secretary Beverly Mutrie, and Member Scott Bieber approved February minutes unanimously and discussed a comprehensive review of heating and cooling systems at Lincoln Akerman School, where annual energy costs total approximately $115,000. Following a March 11 site visit hosted by SAU21 Associate Superintendent Matt Ferreira and Facilities Manager Alan LaJoie, the committee outlined plans for room-by-room assessments to identify efficiency improvements.
Beverly Mutrie proposed a comprehensive energy audit to assess heat loss in the oldest building sections.
