Conservation Commission appoints interim chair as Hill steps aside

NH HAMPTON FALLS — Conservation Commission leadership shifts as Chair Mary Ann Hill steps down for personal reasons. Shawn Hanson takes interim oversight of meetings. The Commission reviewed its 2026 budget of $10,660, reduced by $1,000 from the prior year, and agreed to plan future funding for staff member Sara McNamara-Gagnon's salary as her grant funding runs out in 18 months.
The Commission will present its opposition to a proposed development at 0 East Road at the January 22nd Zoning Board hearing, citing excessive impacts to town wetland buffers and prime wetlands.
