Cemetery Trustees vote to cement antique Revolutionary markers

NH HAMPTON FALLS — Hampton Falls Cemetery Trustees vote to preserve Revolutionary markers. The board voted unanimously to secure antique Revolutionary War cemetery markers in cement to prevent theft, with preservation costs underwritten by Wreaths Across America chairperson Linda Savoy. Chair W.
Harrington and Trustees G. Johnson and Tracy Healey Beattie approved the measure. The Sexton's report noted ongoing snow accumulation across all cemeteries with no burial requests.
Trustees Johnson and Woodes, along with resident Bob Wasson, will remove evergreen overgrowth from the Curtis Sanborn monument. A Revolutionary War Recognition event is planned for Old Westview Cemetery in late summer 2026.
